4. Scream Queens

Only having two seasons, Scream Queens is an easy watch for when you want something darkly funny to take your mind off the stress of school. While Scream Queens is a very exaggerated (and slightly dark) interpretation of college life, it is still a show that features some of the ups and downs of college life. Even if some of those downs are a little more dramatic than your typical pop quiz (did someone say killer on the loose?). Scream Queens is a satirical, dark comedy show that in season one follows the lives of the girls in the Kappa Kappa Tau sorority while a slasher serial killer is on the loose. The second season follows Cathy Munsch from season one as she leaves university life. Both seasons feature a serial killer and are reminiscent of old slasher movies. The show is a satirical comedy and plays on the ridiculousness and stereotypical views of Greek life in college and old slasher films. If you’re a fan of old school slasher flicks, you love Ariana Grande, and you want to have a laugh then Scream Queens is a must add to your watchlist.
