What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs,

blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and

format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

Are you sick of looking at bland and boring closet doors? Placing fabric on your closet doors is an easy way to give your room a new look! Image courtesy of House Beautiful.

The most complicated part of the process (besides taking the closet doors off) is to pick the fabric that you want to hang onto your closet doors. You can use extra fabric that may be laying around your house, or even old quilts that would make a perfect addition to those closet doors. Upholstery is recommended to give the doors a padded feel to it as well, but if you don’t have any, or aren’t able to order any, that is okay! Use adhesive, or even staples to add the fabric to your closet doors to make sure it is secure and ready so you can screw your closet doors back on!

How to Grow a Brand New Plant by Cutting Off Part of Another Plant

Plants are an easy way to decorate a room, but do you want to expand your collection? Here’s how to grow a brand new plant from an existing one!

Are you a fan of using plants to decorate your room because it feels more natural? Well, we are here to help you spend less money and get what you can out of all your plants. Did you know that just by cutting off a small part of a plant that you can propagate it and grow another one? Neither did we, but here is how you do it!

It is so easy to take a plant and propagate it just by cutting a stem off of an existing plant. This is simple and easy to do at home, and it is great for plant lovers too! Image courtesy of House Beautiful.

Some of the things that you’re going to need in order to do this are gloves, a glass jar, shears, rubbing oil, a trowel, potting soil, and a planter. Most plants have little nodes on them, so look on a plant of your choice and find where this small node is, then sterilize your shears using rubbing alcohol to keep your plant healthy, and cut the stem with the node on it about one to three leaves on it.

You are then going to take the stem that you just cut off and put it into a glass jar full of water and place it in an area that is bright where the natural sunlight can get in. Once the root starts growing from the plant, it is ready to be placed into an actual planter, but make sure the root is one to three inches long before putting it in a planter. It’s as easy as that and it’s great for a plant that you really like at home that you want to take with you to your dorm room!
