Wall Decals

Wall decals are an awesome way to decorate for Halloween. You can easily give your space the kind of ambiance you want with this versatile decorating option. You can create whatever is on your mind to paste onto your walls. A ghostly silhouette is a great option. Vampire and werewolf silhouettes would also work great and also be relatively easy to create. It will be even easier if you happen to be a great artist, but if not, you can print out a few silhouettes to trace over. Small and large silhouettes will work. Small bats flying together will look really nice on your walls. Black cats and witches would also make great silhouettes. If you paste one of those images onto your window, it can even create the effect that something creepy is standing right outside. That is sure to set a spooky mood.
It is not very difficult to create your own wall decals. All you need is paper and a printer with ink, or large paper with paint brushes or markers. You can print out several little wall decals to place all along your walls in fun patterns. This is one of the easiest ways to do this. Just tape them onto the wall and they will look like something that took a lot more effort than it actually did! If you’re making a larger silhouette, you could need bigger paper and paint supplies. Markers will also work for this task. Use anything that will create a dark silhouette effect. To create a lifesize outline of a person, you can have a friend lie down onto your blank canvas and trace around their frame. You can add whatever details you want to the image from there.
