What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs,

blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and

format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

The morning after a long night of margaritas, martinis, or vodka sodas is something we all dread. Nausea, fatigue, and headaches can seem unbearable after a night of excess drinking. The good news is that you can do a few things to help yourself feel better when you are suffering from a hangover. Keep reading to find out more.

Get Enough Sleep

If you plan on drinking heavily, try to make sure you can sleep the next morning. When consumed in smaller quantities, alcohol can help promote sleep. However, drinking to the point of intoxication can cause disturbances in your sleep.

It can even decrease the quality and duration of the sleep you end up getting. You want to make sure you are giving your body time to recover after a night of drinking, not to exacerbate your hangover symptoms. Lack of sleep will worsen hangover symptoms such as fatigue, headaches, and irritability.

Eat a Good Meal

You need to prioritize eating when you wake up hungover. Many of us struggle to eat the day after drinking due to nausea accompanying a hangover. Even if you don’t feel up to it, try to get yourself to eat shortly after you wake up. Having a good breakfast can help maintain your blood sugar levels, which can help alleviate hangover symptoms. Additionally, some research shows adequate blood sugar maintenance can help prevent some things that occur in the body during alcohol consumption, like the build-up of acid in the blood.

It is also important to eat a healthy meal to replace any vitamins and minerals in the blood that may have become depleted while drinking. This is why certain foods will serve your body better the day after excessive alcohol consumption. Here are some of the best foods to eat during a hangover.

· Carbohydrates: As previously mentioned, maintain your blood sugar levels to help ward off hangover symptoms. The best way to do this is by loading up on carbs. Because carbohydrates help raise your blood sugar, you will feel less fatigued after consuming them. Things like toast, oatmeal, or brown rice are all great options.

· Eggs: Eggs contain amino acids like cysteine. Cysteine has been known to help clear acetaldehyde from your system, which is produced as your body metabolizes alcohol. When drinking excessively, your body can’t clear the acetaldehyde quickly enough. Its presence in the blood is responsible for many common hangover symptoms. Have eggs for breakfast after a night of drinking to help get your system back to normal.

· Bananas: Bananas or any food high in potassium are great for hangovers. Potassium is an essential electrolyte that can easily get depleted after drinking. Eating potassium-rich foods can help calm muscle cramps, headaches, nausea, and fatigue. Avocados, spinach, potatoes and salmon are all great potassium-rich foods.

· Salty Snacks: Don’t be afraid to reach for sodium-rich foods during your hangover. Pickles, olives, or pretzels are great options to help replenish your body’s sodium levels.

Stay Hydrated

The task of proper hydration should begin before you even start drinking. Adequate water consumption is important before, during, and after you consume alcohol. Dehydration is one of the major causes of a hangover, so your best shot at avoiding one is to make sure you are using the one-to-one ratio.

This means you will alternate your alcoholic drinks with water throughout the night. And then, once you wake up the morning after, you should start drinking water right away to keep the hydration going.

Vitamins and Supplements

If all else fails, some great vitamins and supplements on the market can help you reduce your hangovers. This hangover drink has a unique blend of super herbs, adaptogens, vitamins, and minerals that will help to rehydrate and replenish lost nutrients.

Some studies have shown supplements like red ginseng, prickly pear, ginger, and borage oil to be helpful in hangover relief. Although something as simple as a Motrin or Aleve can help you feel like yourself again. Try to avoid taking Tylenol after alcohol consumption. NSAIDs are fine, but alcohol in your system may worsen acetaminophen’s toxic effects on the liver.

Take it Easy

If you take these steps after a long night of drinking, you will surely experience shorter and less severe hangovers. But even with all these steps, it is important to take time to let your body recover from a hangover. So don’t be afraid to spend some time in front of the TV relaxing while you recover.
